Beaches, parks, buildings and whole area's have all been used at one time or another in the movies, so listed below are some of the film locations that are used over & over for many famous films. You may well see a film crew on your travels anywhere in LA, shooting scenes for the movies or TV. Should you be a film buff who would like to see the latest movie being shot you can. A copy of the Shoot Sheet a daily list of films being shot, on exterior locations throughout Los Angeles, is available from the L.A. Permit Office. Situated at 7083 Hollywood Blvd. near Grauman's Chinese, the shoot sheet is available every weekday with Fridays copy containing weekend shoots.
