Original Burial Site of Karen Carpenter

Karen Carpenter   2nd.March 1950 - 4th.February 1983.
Located in the Ascension Mausoleum, Sanctuary of Compassion. 
Cause of Death - Heart Failure due from years of Anorexia.

Karen Carpenter has been moved to a new location. This was requested by her brother Richard, she is now interred at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park, Westlake Village, LA in a private mausoleum.

Legendary Rock N Roll singer Eddie Cochran is also buried here at Forest Lawn Cypress.
