Oscar Wilde
16th October 1854 - 30th November 1900
Famous Victorian Author/Playwright, who shocked Victorian England with his outspoken views on homosexuality. Oscar was jailed for 2 years in Reading jail for his sexual acts, which finished his career, he died penniless in Paris. Now recognized for his talent and being ahead of his times, there has been many films & plays made about Oscar Wilde life.
