August 23, 1887 - March 1, 1979
Bank robber in the '20's and '30's and suspected of the 1922 Denver Mint robbery. Buried in Forest Park Cemetery, Joplin, MO. along with his widow, who was also the widow of Joplin gang contact Herb Farmer, one of the Kansas City Massacre conspirators; Farmer is planted in the same cemetery, only a few feet from the Baileys.
