" Final Resting Place of Brian Epstein"

Brian Epstein
19th. September 1934 - 27th. August 1967
Manager of The Beatles.
Brian Epstein owned a record shop in Liverpool when he discovered "The
Beatles" in the Cavern Club. He took this raw group and moulded them into
the most famous group in the world. Brian first input was to replace Pete Best,
the original drummer, with Ringo Starr and dressed the group in suits. He was
rumoured to have paid young girls to scream at Beatle concerts, which in turn
led to Beatlemania and worldwide publicity. What is not in doubt is that without
Brian Epstein "The Beatles" would not have gained the status they
attained. Brian was also the one who kept a lid on the bickering which later
engulfed the group. It was not long after his death that this bickering led to
"The Beatles" finally breaking up and going their separate ways. Brian
Epstein will always be remembered as "The Beatles" manager and the
founder of the mersey sound.
