Original Tamla Motown artist who had an enormous hit with "My Guy" in 1964 and again when re-issued in 1972. Her only hit which is still played today. Also released a duets album with Marvin Gaye from which "Once upon a time" became a minor hit in 1964. Mary never again found the hit success of "My Guy" but that record has become a classic and is still played all over the world even today some 4 decades years later.
