City Hall has starred in more movies than most Hollywood actors. Inside and out it has been seen in War of the Worlds - Dragnet - Superman - 48 Hours - Another 48 Hours - Die Hard II - Hoffa - Thorn Birds - Kojak - Cagney & Lacey - Rockford Files - L.A. Law - Hill Street Blues and many more. Despite being destroyed in the film "War of the Worlds" it appeared as the US capital in "Hoffa" and the Vatican in "The Thorn Birds".
