Opened in 1955 this is the original home of Mickey & friends still as magical for children as ever. New for 2001 is Disney's brand new Californian Adventure Park 55 acres of amazing attractions including Screaming California roller coasters, the Grizzly River rafting expedition and a Hollywood Pictures Back lot tour where you  can learn all about the movies.

America's first and oldest theme park situated just 10mins.from Disneyland.

One Block North of Knott's Berry Farm.
Open since 1962, the  Movieland Wax Museum exhibits over 290 celebrity waxfigures of Film &Television Stars. Set in realistic settings with original costumes & studio props, these full size figures are uncannily life like in their appearance. Your welcome to bring your camera and snap away to your heart's content. Movieland also has its own "Walk of Fame" featuring the autographs, foot and handprints of celebrities immortalized in cement. Ripley's "Believe it or Not" in Buena Park have assembled a collection of real life phenomena and scores of curiosities that are so obviously strange and yet so mystifyingly true. Ponder all the possibilities, as you step into the unbelievable world of Ripley's "Believe it or Not". Joint tickets with "Movieland"  which is opposite are available.

The Crystal Cathedral 12141 Chapman Avenue Garden Grove. Tel:- 714-971-4000.
The largest glass structured building in the world, built by TV evangelist Robert Schuller. This majestic building is somewhat like a four pointed star, consisting of over 10,000 panes of glass forming the translucent walls. Don't miss the chapel in the cathedral tower, where your find a stunning glass cross. Each week the Sunday service is broadcast live across the nation as "The Hour of Power" and often feature celebrity guests. The Nixon Library and Birthplace 18001 Yorba Linda, Boulevard. CA. Tel: (714) 993-5075. 
Birthplace of America's 37th. President. Incorporates presidential papers, museum, bulletproof  limousine, gowns and gardens where you can view his grave.  Dramatic roller coaster ride through a half century of US & World history. Located in a 1908 Carnegie Library, this museum displays exhibitions of  Anaheim's history. Late 19th. century until today,
from its grape industry origins, to orange groves, to Disneyland. All of Anaheim's unique history can be found here. Museum lovers can pick up a list of the many museums in the Anaheim area from the visitors center.

It's virtually a small city in its own right.

The Train McDonald's 7861 Beach Boulevard Anaheim.
As you enter the lot of this unique McDonald's you're greeted by a turn of the century exterior.  Upon entering you'll see one of the most high tech amusement rides found in a McDonald's anywhere in America.  McThriller simulates the thrill of a roller coaster ride, jet fighter flight or a downhill ski run.

Denny's

Please Note.
Whilst in Anaheim if you were a fan of "The Carpenters" you can see the grave of Karen Carpenter who is buried within 15 min. of Knott's Berry Farm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress. Also buried there is Eddie Cochran  rock-n-roll singer who died in a car crash in England (1961). For fans of John Wayne a short trip to Newport Beach is where you'll find the Duke's grave, in the Pacific View Cemetery
